My Bio
I'm Laura =) I have two eyes, dark brown dyed hair with bangs, lots of black clothing, and half an English degree even though I'm no longer going to school for that. I believe in karma and the power of positive thinking. I try to be thankful for everything I have, and give back when I can. I think art and music are therapeutic and can heal the soul, and sometimes a good harmony makes me cry. I have 5 nieces and nephews that I refer to as my babies who are my heart. I want to get a tattoo that says "Holy the supernatural extra brilliant intelligent kindness of the soul" from Howl by Allen Ginsberg. I wish that I was better at understanding literature. I'm horrible at saving money, and I get distracted easily and leave projects unfinished a lot. I love to travel and there are a million places in the world I want to see. I have a fondness for the morbid macabre and am far too enthused with criminology. I think glasses are undeniably sexy, pretty much no matter what, no matter who is wearing them, and when I was little, I always wished that I had to wear them. I keep most of my photos in a high contrast, and I eat every spoonful of ice cream in two separate bites.

I've decided to open up to making commissions of the shadow art that I make. My lovely best friend Lienna28 (https://www.deviantart.com/lienna28) made me a little website with all the info you'd need <3 http://laurawozniak.webs.com/ I'm saving up for some summer plans, so I'm really looking forward to working with people! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns =)

I'm about to use Mod Podge for the first time. I know it seems lame, but I've been wanting to for SO long and I'm finally getting to it, and I'm just pumped! Though I wish I had some money to go get some magazines for it. Alexander Skarsgard is on the cover of something or other, and I just really want that. We'll see what I come up with =)

I've had quite a few people that have followed me on here, and told me it was specifically because they liked my shadow art. so I'm curious. If I were to open commissions for those, would anyone be interested in buying one? prices would vary based on the medium you wanted them in, and what the picture ended up being of, and well, how large you'd want it. I would post the picture on here, but I would obviously also send you the physical  copy. (If anyone wasn't curious, these are not done on the computer. the art is rendered there, but all the painting and/or inking is done by hand) All very reasonably priced, because I'm kind of really strapp

Thank you so much <3 My name is Tetyana. It is a pleasure to make a new, wonderful friend!!!!!!!!!
Are you in school for theater or art, or are they just things you do for fun?
I am very sorry for such a late reply. I do theatre as a passion and as a fun activity. I never went to school for it. What about you?
Love your art page :)
Hope to make a wonderful, fellow actor friend
The lake loon series is, imho, one of the most perfect sets I have ever seen---on DA or elsewhere. If a question would not be intrusive, I would love to know how it was conceived, etc. Such an achievement naturally raises questions as to how it came into being.
Your sense of beauty is, in several photographs (the ones I faved) exquisitely poetic. The faved ones remind me of Ezra Pound's remark when T. S. Eliot published the Waste Land: "About enough to make the rest of us close up shop." The pictures I faved, that I have found after a long search, are about enough to make most of DA's photographers close up shop.
thank you so much. You seriously have no idea what a comment like this means to me. I try to always tell a story with my photography, and it's comforting that you can see the poetry in what I do rather than just nice pictures of good looking people. Thank you. It means a lot <3
